Shtatëmbëdhjetë from Prishtina and Art House from Shkodra started the collaboration for the Matanë Art residency to nurture cultural and artistic exchanges in the Balkan region and beyond, which contributes to critical and rich conversations. Artists Renea Begolli (RKS) dhe Xhulian Millaj (ALB) were invited to become part of the residency program. Matanë supports the relationship between art and research by giving space and time to artists of every discipline to work on a new project with access to different resources in Prishtina and Shkodra.

Matanë project is part of the Regional Network for Cultural Diversity (READ) project.
