The exhibition of photographers Letizia Battaglia and Roberto Timperi by an extinct mastery,
courage and poetry, engages us in a dialogue with the society we live in.
Letizia Battaglia (1935-2022) was one of the most prominent contemporary photographer.
Her photographs of Palermo reveal all the nuances and layers of the city, her favorite space to
observe and depict.
Roberto Timperi works between Rome and Palermo. He fixes in his objective the reality that
surrounds him, a world conceived through relationships and attraction, through bodies that do
not necessarily want to follow imposed standards of beauty.
The exhibition created a dialogue between two different worlds and approaches inviting us to
become part of an experience which through images, opens the door for deeper intimacy.
