Silvia Bignami graduated in Modern Literature in 1992, in the University of Milan. From 2004, she works as a researcher in the Department of History of Arts in the University of Milan. From 2003, she is a professor in the Course of History of Contemporary Art at the University. From 2003, which coincides with the foundation of the Scientific Committee of the magazine “L’uomo nero: Materiali per una storia delle arti della modernità”, she is member of this committee. From 2014, she is the responsible of the didactic section of the Foundation Pasquinelli in Milan.

Giorgio Zanchetti was born in Siena in 1966. He lives and works in Milano. Zanchetti is a professor of History of Contemporary Art and vice director of the Department of Cultural Heritage in the University of Milan. His studies are dedicated to Italian sculpture among Neoclassicism, Purism, Realism and experiences related to the different artistic expressions of the 20th century.
